Job Description:

PineRock is a highly creative, fast-paced, collaborative agency headquartered in New York City. We have been working with established and emerging brands for 25 years to create exciting communications programs and are looking for an ambitious Account Director to join our growing team.

Our Account Services team serves as the first line of contact with our clients. They identify client needs, give a voice for their business, marketing, and overall presence, and work strategically to provide thoughtful solutions to enhance their brand with measurable results.

An integral member of PineRock’s revenue generation team, the Accounts Director is responsible for driving business development and growth, providing account oversight, support, and guidance to meet agency and client’s strategic initiatives.

What you'll do: 

  • Partner with Creative and Production teams to deliver compelling responses for RFPs and capability presentations
  • Identify new opportunities and aggressively seek prospective clients within the assigned business segment
  • Support both In-Person and Digital sales events as well as Video and Communications Programs
  • Manage CRM data for account management, forecasting, and sales activities
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to meet our revenue and activity goals and objectives
  • Grow client business and generate incremental billings and income through strategic plan development leadership
  • Build trusting relationships with client counterparts to foster added value to partnerships
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to achieve client objectives, drive revenue, and ensure client loyalty
  • Navigate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Strategy, Creative, and Production
  • Meet directly with clients and embody their voice in all internal discussions

Skills and knowledge you possess:

  • Integrity and Trust
  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • >7 - 10 years of Account Management, Strategy, or another client-facing role experience
  • An organized, self-starter adept at prioritizing and managing multiple projects while consistently meeting and exceeding objectives
  • Experience selling multiple events and experiential service solutions including live events, virtual events, video, brand, social, and strategic consulting
  • Proactive and motivated team player with excellent people and management skills when interacting with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Understand client goals, set cadence of communications, serve as a trusted advisor, and maintain strong client relationships in partnership with Production
  • Able to define solutions that generate measurable results for our clients
  • Has outstanding public speaking skills and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in an agency environment
  • Has a proven track record of successfully managing Fortune 500 accounts
  • Thrives in a fast­-paced, multi­tasking, and creative environment
  • Excellent business acumen and client service skills
  • Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and values accountability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, computer, and writing skills
  • HubSpot experience a plus

Candidates must live in the USA, preferably the east coast where the majority of our team is located. No agencies.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
